If I can’t touch, then how do I learn?
You can touch. Just not the way we are used to. You can touch hearts, souls, minds, and bodies. You just have to look at it differently. And that’s what we’re here to help you with. Looking at things differently, including the way we offer continuing education for wellness professionals. It’s 2020; it has to be different.
Yeah, well, 2020 sucks! But, does it?
We’ve all been going around complaining about virtually everything lately. Ha! Get it? Virtually? Yeah, complaining about virtual meetings, virtual clients, virtual trainings, virtual bull…
Yeah, we get it. We feel ya! But are we really going to sit back and do nothing but complain about the matters of the world until the end of the year. What? Is there a magic clock of some sort or a magic button that’s going to change all this just because the year changes from 2020 to 2021?
That’d be nice, but I hate to burst your bubble. Ain’t gonna happen. And if it does, well, then maybe all those conspiracy theorists are correct. And if that’s true, then we’ve got even bigger problems than we do now.
Get on with your life.
Continuing Education is a Must – People Need Us
Honestly, yes we’ve had to change the way we interact with the world. Less touching, more virtual, but that doesn’t mean less caring and more hatred. It doesn’t mean you stop learning.
We are wellness professionals and people need us more today – in this virtual world – than they ever did in the personal world. Yep, some things in life will go back to normal when this is all said and done, but do we really want all of the world to go back to what it once was?
Think about it. I bet some of you are traveling more, lounging around your morning coffee a bit longer, staying in your pajamas a bit later, accumulating less stuff. And for better or worse, maybe enjoying the flavors of food, crafting cocktails, and dancing with a glass of wine before heading off to bed without worrying about an alarm going off in the morning.
Looking at 2020 Differently
So, really 2020 sucks? Or can you look at it with a different mindset?
Your clients have to adjust to this weird world, too. But hasn’t the world been weird as long as humans have been in it? This crazy, mixed-up beautiful world that we all live in is the only one we’ve got.
We deserve to give ourselves our best lives. We’ve only got one of ’em, so are we really going to curl up in a fetal position for the next three months letting the media tell us how we’re all going to die, and wait around for this magical clock to tick 2021 and life is finally all rainbows and unicorns, or are we going to take control of who we are, what we do, and how we act? Like we used to do before this evil 2020 kicked in.
Continuing Education and Life Can Now Happen Anywhere
That’s what we’re here for. To help you get back on track to the life you love – back to the clients you love – back to the profession you love. Yep, you may have to teach virtually, but while you may think the world has completely shut down, it hasn’t. You like the beach? Go there. Learn from there. Teach your kids from there. Teach your clients from there. The mountains? Same!
This is 2020 – internet signals are almost everywhere. Computers are abundant and the billions of people on this planet need you. Yep, there are millions of wellness professionals, but they’re not all like you. Your clients are looking for you specifically – your style, your beliefs, your teachings. And you can’t teach them if your credentials are expired. You definitely can’t teach them if your mind is stuck in a cycle of cynicism. That mantra of “2020 sucks” needs to eradicated, and you’re the wellness professional to do just that, both for you and your clients.
