In Gratitude

Thank you Theresa for presenting your immense knowledge in such a lighthearted and approachable way. I learned immediately applicable techniques and skills for everything ranging from business development and client retention to deep tissue massage techniques that are easier on my body and more effective and accessible to my clients. I have a feeling I will continue to have little lightbulbs going off for quite a while as I continue to assimilate all the information you presented. This class was well worth the time and financial investment. I had so much fun I almost didn’t realize I was learning. I can’t wait to learn from you again. You are amazing!" - Riannon Zorn

" When it came time for the Anatomy portion of our Yoga Teacher Training, I arrived much like I did to my high school science classes...unenthused and shut down. It's just never been my "thing." Theresa Macy came in with exact opposite manner; she was energized and extremely open. Her love for anatomy dripped off her and somehow made its way to me. A smile would form on her lips and I came to know that smile as the precursor to her telling us something really cool about the body. She made anatomy interesting and cool. I found myself becoming more curious about things I previously took for granted but didn't give thought to how or why they worked. Theresa was an asset to my training, my yoga and my overall understanding of the bones I've housed my whole life but never really knew! "  - Sherry Hanck

I am a Nationally Board Certified, NJ Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist and I am an Upledger Certified Craniosacral Therapist and have been in practice for 31 years. I have had countless hours of continuing education and I found the two - day program with Theresa to be exceptional. She is the rare teacher that is a master communicator, incredibly competent and kind and respectful to each person in her class. I left with a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of the body that easily transitioned into my practice Monday morning.   Put Theresa's programs on your wish list it will enrich you!   - Vince Falone LMT CST

Theresa was my teacher, trainer & mentor for year at Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in King of Prussia, Pa. She has always shown a love and passion for what she does & it comes out in every class she teaches. She genuinely cares about her students and their success. Postural Stress Reduction is just one of those classes in which she demonstrates her love for massage and for all of her students. If you are finding yourself hurting after every week or even everyday, then this class is for you! The best thing about this class is it is not only useful for Massage Therapists but also their clients. Learn to use your body properly and then you will be able to teach your clients to do the same. This is a "must take" class for anyone who is serious about the longevity of their career.   - Bill Master, LMT

You are an incredible educator Theresa! You have an obvious passion and the knowledge and convey it in a palatable and effective means. The concentration on body mechanics and allowing the time for all the hands on work really separates you from other courses I've taken in the past. You take a personal approach and are able to manage the different skill and knowledge levels of the class effectively. In a nutshell, you rock!  - Derek Somerville, LMT

I would recommend Theresa Tobin Macy's "Advanced Corrective Therapies" course to anyone who is looking for a comprehensive, hands-on, thought-provoking, applicable approach to their practice.  Unlike some courses that try to cram in too much information, Theresa combines the right balance of theory/assessment, body mechanics, and technique.  Her course taught me the finer skills of affecting the deeper layers of soft tissue as well as improving my client/therapist communication skills.  A great value for the novice or experienced massage practitioner.  - Derek MacMahon, LMT

"When you go to Theresa Macy you get the whole package. Her love and knowledge of anatomy informs her hands-on work, giving the person on her table relief from pain and a better understanding of how the body works. She approaches each individual as a unique and whole being. I felt my acute back pain lessen considerably after one treatment. Competent and compassionate, Theresa Macy is a true healer. " - Sherry Hanck

"I’m an active and relatively healthy person; however, I sought relief for chronic low back pain with occasional debilitating spasms. I tried different masseuses in the Yardley area and while they all granted me some degree of relief, it was very short lived. By happy accident, I discovered Theresa and immediately noticed the difference. As both an instructor and practitioner with many years experience, she has a comprehensive knowledge of massage, to which she adds her knowledge of human anatomy, stretching techniques, and yoga to give clients a truly healing experience. She is a person who really cares about the well being of her clients, is devoted to her craft, and has been essential to eliminating my back spasms and maintaining a higher degree of overall health with less pain."  - Eric Jacobsen

" Therapeutic massage with Theresa has been an important part of my recovery. I have had lower back issues for many years and am now dealing with upper back pain, much the result of overly tightened muscles. I feel a noticeable improvement since adding therapeutic massage to my chiropractic care and exercise regimen. Theresa takes great care to listen to my symptoms, develop a program that meets my specific needs, and adapt sessions accordingly. She shares her knowledge and discusses treatment in a way that I easily understand so we can work together to address my particular situation. I am so glad I found her! "  - Debbie Stasolla
