Welcome to Anecdotal Anatomy

with Theresa Tobin Macy & Sherry Sadoff Hanck

Book cover titled 'Anecdotal Anatomy' with a subtitle 'Science and Stories' and a description 'Casual Conversations'. The cover features two women outdoors in a forest surrounded by fallen leaves, holding a human skull model. One woman has curly gray hair and is dressed in a magenta scarf and black pants, while the other has gray hair and glasses, wearing a bright pink long-sleeve top and dark pants.

What does it mean to live in a body? How do our personal stories echo through the universal human experience?

Anecdotal Anatomy is a podcast born from these questions. Through heartfelt conversation, lived experience, and the lens of ancient wisdom traditions, we explore the intersections of body, story, and soul. With curiosity and candor, we invite listeners into a space where casual dialogue meets embodied insight.

Over the course of 88 episodes, we’ve examined how the body holds memory, how movement can be medicine, and how humor, honesty, and discernment weave into the anatomy of being human.

More than a podcast, Anecdotal Anatomy is a community of wonderers—people who are willing to ask, reflect, and share. We hope you’ll join the conversation.

Peace, love and stories,
