This full-day retreat is an invitation to walk in harmony with the ebb and flow of life, guided by the natural wisdom of the ocean and the steady beacon of the Cape May Lighthouse.
Through mindful walking along the shoreline, gentle movement, breath awareness, and reflective journaling, we’ll explore the interplay of light and shadow, motion and pause, surrender and steadiness. With the option to wade in the water or take a refreshing swim, we’ll embrace the sensation of being held and moved by the sea.

What to Expect
Flowing with Light & Shadow
Come as you are—ready to flow, explore, and savor summer’s embrace. This day-long retreat invites you to move through the landscape of Cape May—from shoreline to farm, from bike path to vineyard— with curiosity, ease, and wonder.
🌀 Begin with breath and movement as we bike together toward the ocean’s edge, arriving at The Cove for a mindful walking meditation along the shifting sands.
🌿 Pause for nourishment at Beach Plum Farm, where the natural beauty and fresh seasonal fare offer space to reflect, connect, and replenish.
🏖️ Let play be your practice with barefoot wanderings, shoreline sculptures, and shared joy.
🍷 Close the day optionally with a relaxed dinner at Willow Creek Winery, where laughter and lingering light accompany our final gathering.
Whether you join for the full day or begin the journey Friday evening on the optional sunset cruise, you'll be guided by tides, trails, and timeless teachings of presence. Expect movement, stillness, community, and a return to what matters most.
What to Bring: Travel Light, Come Fully
This retreat is about simplicity, spaciousness, and savoring the moment. A few thoughtful essentials will help you feel nourished, comfortable, and ready to meet the day with ease:
Comfortable walking shoes or sandals for our mindful beach walk
A bathing suit or light clothing if you wish to wade or swim in the sea
Sun protection — hat, sunglasses, and natural sunscreen
Refillable water bottle to stay hydrated on the go
Small towel or cloth for resting on the sand or drying off
Optional: a journal for reflections or beach sketching
Light layers — Cape May breezes shift with the sun
A small backpack to carry your essentials and ride with ease throughout the day
Your bike is included with registration and will be ready for you at the shop—each comes with a basket 🧺 for simplicity and ease, perfect for holding your water bottle, sun hat, or small essentials. You’re also welcome to bring your own if preferred. Our day flows gently, with space to move, pause, and let the natural world lead.

Ease into the weekend with a sunset cruise on the water. A soulful evening of sea breezes, gentle music, and golden light. Optional, but warmly encouraged.

Saturday, July 19 – A Day of Flow & Connection
Meet at 10:00 AM • Cape May Bike Rental Shop
Please arrive with water, sun protection, and comfortable walking/biking attire.

🚲 10:30 AM – Depart by bike to The Cove
👣 10:45 AM – 12:30 PM – Mindful Cove Walk
A walking journey in rhythm with the waves — exploring the edge between land and sea.
🥗 12:30 PM – 12:45 PM – Bike to Beach Plum Farm
🍃 12:45 PM – 2:30 PM – Lunch + Rest at Beach Plum Farm
Savor fresh seasonal fare, reconnect with land and one another. (Lunch included)
🌊 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM – Pedal to the beach for an afternoon of playful grounding
🏖️ 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Water & Sandcastles
